Overview
List Creator is designed for Microsoft SharePoint Online. It provides an easier way for authorized users to define a list name and columns and create the list in SharePoint without manually building each field one at a time.
Key capabilities
- Create a new SharePoint list from the web part interface.
- Define the list name and column information before creation.
- Perform list creation within the user's Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Respect the permissions granted to the currently signed-in SharePoint user.
Intended users
List Creator is intended for SharePoint administrators, site owners, developers, power users, and other authorized Microsoft 365 users who regularly create SharePoint lists.
Requirements
- Microsoft 365 tenant with SharePoint Online.
- Permission to install or make the application available according to the organization's SharePoint App Catalog policies.
- The end user must have sufficient SharePoint permissions to create lists at the selected location.
Data handling
The current List Creator product does not require an Ackerman Technologies-hosted backend service to perform its core list-creation function. List and column information entered by the user is used to perform the requested operation in the customer's Microsoft 365 environment.
